Ling Shuhua is an important writer in modern literature, but also the pioneer member of Beijing School, she makes a huge contribution to Beijing School with excellent editing skills, translation capability, writing ability,and leaves an indelible mark in the history of the development of Beijing School. However, for the relation between Ling Shuhua and Beijing School, either her,Lin Huiyin, Yang Jiang and other women writers of Beijing school are classified as a class, from the female perspective to explore their visual filling for Beijing school, or let them strand on the edge, appear and disappear from time to time. Although some scholars publish the correct views on the relation between Ling Shuhua and Beijing school, but most of the insights are mixed in the biography of Ling Shuhua, the study on the literature of Beijing School, and all kinds of literary history, prose history.Ling Shuhua’s creative personality is submerged in the aesthetic generality of Beijing school, this leads to the relation between Ling Shuhua and Beijing School are more complicated and confusing.The author tries to start from Ling Shu Hua and other writers of Beijing School’s creative personality, spinning silk from cocoons, layers of in-depth to explore the generality of Ling Shuhua and the literature of Beijing School, in order to accurately grasp the creation characteristics of Ling Shuhua from the overall visual, and from the subtle to get a glimpse of the Beijing school community’s aesthetic idea and the creation of the truth.The ideas of this article are as follows:The first chapter explores the humanistic relation between Ling Shuhua and the writers of Beijing School, traces the origin of Ling Shuhua and Beijing school, clarifies the context between Ling Shuhua and Beijing school, and inspects Ling Shuhua’s literary activities in Beijing School, so as to determine her position in Beijing School.The second chapter elaborates the inheritance of Ling Shuhua for Beijing School. Beijing School as a popular literary genre in the 30’s literary world, there are common in the school members’ aesthetic ideas and literary creation. this chapter aims to explore the inheritance of Ling Shuhua for the literature of Beijing School on the theory and creation, demonstrates its commonality with Beijing School.The third chapter expounds the contribution and development of Ling Shuhua to Beijing School.Ling Shuhua editors the Journal of“Wuhan Daily·Modern Literature”, expands the influence of Beijing School from North China to Central China; trough the English translation and autobiographical novels, Ling Shuhua inscribes“T’ien Hsia Monthly”, outreaches "The Bloomsbury Group", promotes the literature of Beijing School to spread to the western world; in addition, she strives to break through the status quo in creative literature, to shape the genre features with personalized literary works, to further expand the aesthetic style of the literature of Beijing School,and makes a significant contribution to the development of Beijing School.In a word, Ling Shuhua and Beijing School are inextricably linked, she not only inherits the literary aesthetic style of Beijing School, but also expands the literary creation vision. Through the discussion on the relation between Ling Shuhua and Beijing School, readers can clearly understand the status and role of Ling Shuhua in Beijing School, this is an academic growth point and development point of Ling Shuhua’s study. Also,we can fan out from point to area, take the study of Ling Shuhua as a medium, to further explore the real situation of the community’s aesthetic ideas and literary creation, to reproduce the status and influence of Beijing School in the history of modern literature.
