The Issues Research Of "Aesthetic Of Daily Life"

The theoretical resource of this literary was the problem about aesthetic of daily life, which was talked about by British sociologist Featherstone and post-modern German philosopher Wels. Featherstone had found the close relationship between aesthetic of daily life and modernity, post-modernity. This relation showed the close relationship among daily life, consumption and aesthetic, which had great effect on people’s aesthetic activity, art and daily life. Art had brought more and more effect on daily life which made daily life be full of beauty. Wels had rethought aesthetic of daily life from the background post-modernity. Then he named his book as “Undoing Aesthetics”. Undoing has the meaning of disassembling and cancel in this book. But the theme of this book was not to disassemble aesthetic, on the contrary, its theme was to reconstruct aesthetic, which would surpass the narrow characteristic between aesthetic and art to emphasize its philosophic nature.The theme of this article was the question about aesthetic of daily life, which was talked about by two western philosophers. At the same time, it rethought aesthetic of daily life with Chinese contest from the reality. The aesthetic of daily life included two aspects: the first one, it meant our life environment, which meant the aesthetic construction of home decoration, industrial products and city. We can call it the aesthetic of object. The second one, people had spent more and more time on tourism, games, tea and so on. we can call it the aesthetic of subject. Judging from appearance, this two aspects had come true, but in reality, people’s daily life was full of trouble, even people were tired of their life environment. In fact, people were tired of this beautiful world. just exactly as what Wels had said “when our life was successful, everything was beautiful, at the same time, we had more expectation on our life, on the contrary, it brought more trouble to our life.People made contact with things which they were familiar with in this monotonous life. In fact, the aesthetic of daily life has close relation with our daily life. Everyone spent their time in familiar environment or experiencing novelty. Then the aesthetic of daily life had really come true in our life? In this article, aesthetic of daily life did not come true. What we saw was not the real aesthetic of daily life. People regarded every beautiful thing as taste object in their daily life, so they mixed taste object and aesthetic object, which made people miss more and more beautiful things in life, at the same, they lost sight of the creation of aesthetic activity. So the fake aesthetic of daily life brought more and more problems in our daily life, finding a way of true aesthetic of daily life was urgent. This article had analyzed the close relationship among aesthetic of daily life, consumption and art, as well as explored the reason of aesthetic of daily life, we can also call it fake aesthetic of daily life. In the end, our aim was to solve problems and find the true way, it meant we should find the art potential in our daily life, not to be the slave of the consumerism of modern city life. At the same time, we need to improve our aesthetic level by means of aesthetic education.
