Analysis On Vocalization Of Erhu Playing

Min Huifen, the outstanding Erhu player, the acknowledged national bowed-string player, composed as well as played many excellent Erhu works. Her brilliant achievements in Erhu are obvious to all, attracting worldwide attention. In particular, Min Huifen proposed the vocalization in Erhu performance on the basis of the profound comprehension of national music, opening up a broad path for the development of Erhu art, which was the performance idea she insisted on and her life goal.Based on the analysis of vocalization and taking two pieces of such works as examples, this paper explores the expression methods of vocalisation of Erhu performance of Min Huifen by nalyzing the adapted Erhu works mentioned above from the perspective of features, types and tune of the original music, so as to have a deeper understanding and more enlightenment of Min Huifen’s Erhu performance of vocalization.
