The Shape And Structure Of Seven-Hole Bass Dizi And Applications On The New Pieces

As required by the school for the 2013 graduates,the author conducts the following research into the shape and structure of the Seven-hole bass Di-zi,and applications on the new pieces. As an improved type of instrument,it is not only based on traditional but also innovative at the same time.The new methods and concepts appears due to the extra one hole.It made up for the traditional Di-zisomedisadvantages,and brought new vitalities in artistic characteristics. This paper aimed at the theoretical level of history, tonality, range; play the level fingering, breath, the shape of the hand for all-round introduction.And combined with the tworepresentative piece of Seven-hole bass Di-zi in my own playing experience,to provide the Di-zi players a shortcut to understand and grasp its playing method.
