This essay is a Master’s degree graduation recital design focusing on the analysis and exploration of music works of the recital as well as the experiences as a foreign student in China.The paper will be divided to five parts, namely self-introduction, structure and frame of recital(recital program included), analysis of repertoire, performance of repertoire, and personal experiences of the recital. The program selection of this recital comprise of a wide selection of pieces from both traditional and contemporary Yangqin music with a combination of different forms, including solo performance, trio, English dulcimer performance etc., in hope to enrich the content of the recital as far as possible. A corresponding analysis of the concert repertoire combining personal performing experience will be presented in this paper. |
