The Aesthetic Ethics Study Of The Chinese Network Novels

In the background of the period of rapid social transition, the anonymity and liberalization of network literature creation exacerbated the disorder of the literary aesthetic ethics. As a mainstream of the network literature creation, any other literature types can’t compare with the network novel, because of its wide range of creation sectors, numerous works and wide range of reading. In addition, the various ethic types and ethical values showed with its special narrative mode, make the fiction different from other literary genres. It’s particularly prominent in the Internet age. How to grasp the dynamic development of network novels, properly guide the gradually commercial and popular network novels in the process of modernization, establish a reasonable and normative network aesthetic ethics value system, are all urgent need to get attention for researchers and critics.This thesis attempts to make preliminary research of the ethic types, ethical tendencies and ethical values of the Chinese network novels from the point of aesthetic ethics, analyze the reason of the aesthetic ethics anomie of network novels, and try to seek the correspond solutions. The thesis includes three parts:In the first part, a brief overview of the development of Chinese network novels is presented, and emphatically analyses the highlighted ethic types in the Chinese network novels, contains gender ethics, family ethics, political ethics, work ethics, ecological ethics, as well as other types of ethics in the network novels.In the second part, the main ethical tendencies of Chinese network novels are discussed, contains immoral tendency, individualistic tendency, secular tendency and sensory tendency.The main content of the third part is aesthetic ethics value analysis of Chinese network novels. First, the relationship between the literary aesthetics and ethics is traced from a historical source, and the development of aesthetic ethics was briefly discussed under the aesthetic modernity vision. Next, the positive value showed in terms of aesthetic ethics of the network novels is analyzed, contains the pursuit of liberty, the focus of "grassroots" class, the sustenance of "pure love", and the highlight of feminist. Last part is the analysis of aesthetic ethical negative value existing in the network novels, contains the law of the jungle, passion-writing, patriarchy-centered culture and satisfaction of false needs.In the part four, the paper explores the reason of the aesthetic ethics anomie in the network novels, contains the transition of literature in the changing society, the public’s aesthetic taste under the commercial consumption culture, and the freedom of creation brought by new media forms. And try to seek the correspond solutions about the aesthetic ethics anomie in the network novels, like the review and supervision of related institutions and departments, the support and guidance of government, and something should did by critics about network novels.
