People are enjoying the convenience from modern city, at the same time, felt ancient towns which carrying our history are gradually disappeared in the course of history. Therefore, a large number of experts and scholars put forward to protect ancient towns, to protect our heritage. Clearly, Chinese civil power is not enough to hold up the banner, only local governments can become the backbone of ancient towns protection. Limited by their motivation and management level, not all governments can properly deal with the relationship between the protection and tourism development. Some governments exploit the town only for commercial purposes leads to serious homogeneity and complete destruction in some areas of China.The protection and development of ancient towns are equally important for us, and it’s a very complicated systematic project.
