Looking At Robert Damton’s New Culture History Research From The Perspective Of Cultural Transmission

New culture is the historical trend emerged in the 1970s, new cultural historians focus on various historical periods of the role of cultural phenomena and the effect of cultural, they think sometimes culture decide the development of the historical events and political affairs, at the same time, the new cultural history focus on small historical events and characters, claims that from the bottom to understand history, and with the aid of the theory of historical anthropology, new culture pay attention to study the concept of the locals. Robert Darnton is such a new cultural historians, and all of his works can be seen as the books and the interpretation of cultural transmission.
