The Music Analysis And Singing Interpretation Of Pergolesi Stabat Mater

As a theoretical reference for teachers and researchers, this thesis mainly studies the music connotation of Pergolesi Stabat Mater and the way of performing it. First of all, I will discuss the creation background of Pergolesi and the development of Stabat Mater through introducing the lifetime of Pergolesi and the history of Stabat Mater, which aims to discuss the its music characteristics. Secondly, I will analyze the music structure of Stabat Mater and its composing techniques, which can be taken as the reference of singing.As a postgraduate student for vocal pedagogy, I will depend on the professional features and requirements to expound how to use and control the voice when performing it. Combined with my own experience, some elements will also be stated in this thesis, such as style handling, motion controlling, the use of vocal techniques and the comparison between different versions of Stabat Mater.
