| Since 20th century, Pipa artistic performance has been greatly progressed. A large quantities of Chinese Pipa performers appeared on international stage, more and more composers were involved in Pipa artistic creation, meanwhile, it is encouraging the musicians to explore and create the Pipa art language. Take the example of music 《Qian Zhang Sao》 created by professional composer Mr Luo Yonghui and 《The Golden Dream》 created by Pipa perform artist Mr Liu Dehai, the article will try to analyze the art characteristics of Pipa solo music between two different identity of composers by studying their creation background, skills and performance. |
