Pragmatics Analysis To Catastrophic News Discourse In The New Media Of Our Country

Catastrophic news research has been a very important topic for the media and even the national management. However academia to study more inclined to news reports from journalism and communication itself, or public opinion, social management, ethics, etc. As the main form of English news, language is difficult to lucubrate. A limited number of news discourse linguistics, but also a few combined with the theory of pragmatics, in the perspective of session acting in the news reports. Therefore, this thesis will analyze the catastrophic news discourse from the perspective of pragmatics based on the related theory of pragmatics.This thesis is divided into six parts, the first part introduces the research background, significance, present research status, research thinking and general theory frame. This paper used the theoretical framework of theories of conversational principles, speech act theory, the presupposition theory and relevance theory.Next, using Shanghai stampede as an example to analyze the related reports. The second part is analysis of the title based on the presupposition theory and relevance theory. Mainly In this paper is detailed analysis of title structure mode under the two theoretical perspectives to People’s Daily online, Xinhua online, southern weekly’s official MicroBlog, NetEase News’s official MicroBlog, and then find out the difference between both before and the after two.The third part is discourse analysis based on the theory of cooperative principle. Respectively from the session qualitative principles, the principle of quantity, relationship and the way of the two media with different properties is analyzed by discourse.The fourth part is discourse analysis to People’s Daily online, Xinhua online, and reported in sina MicroBlog based on the speech act theory. Then it expounds their locutionary act, illocutionary act and perlocutionary act combining with the specific social context.The fifth part is the reason analysis appear on the phenomenon of the first four parts, explaining them from the perspective of the relationship between language and society, the Angle of media, the audience’s point of view and the Angle of science and technology.The finally sixth part is the conclusion and prospected.
