Research On The Said Problem Of HanYu And LiAo

Han Yu, known as one of the greatest litterateur in Chinese history, has an unshakable influence on the basis of literary theories and achievements. Even in the selected books of Tang and Song Dynasty, Han Yu’s status has also been ranked on top of other paleographers in Tang and Song Dynasty. Though he was always bracketed with other literati in the same era, like "Han Liu", "Han Li", "Han Liu", "Han Bai", etc, he was put in the first place all the time. There also exists two juxtaposition wording as "Han Liu" and "Han Li", especially in the field of ancient prose creation. However, in the times of Tang and the Five Dynasty, the general acceptance of "Han Liu" and "Han Li" is almost in the same level, which has not attracted many people’s attention. The general tendency in Northern Song Dynasty is as follows:the status of Li Ao’s literacy works is higher than of Liu Zongyuan’s literacy works in the eyes of other literati at that time, which directly impact the acceptance of "Han Li" at that time. Due to a large number of factors, the status of Liu Zongyuan in the field of literature has experienced a significant decline, which indirectly influence the upward trend of Li Ao’s literacy works, thus promoting the prevailing current of "Han Li" in the field of literacy creation. "Han Li" then became the two masters in the ancient literature movement. After the Southern Song Dynasty, "Han Liu" returned to its true literary qualities initially, and Han Li’s short domination in literacy territory in Northern Song Dynasty transferred to the field of philosophical thoughts. Even though the of artistry of Han and Li’s literacy work were often compared by later literati, there barely exists sayings that put the status of Han and Li in the field of literacy creation together.By analyzing the acceptance of "Han Li" in Tang and the Five Dynasty, Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty, the effects of "the trend of back-to-ancients of literacy works in Middle Tang Dynasty and Northern Song Dynasty", "the overview of combination in ’Confucianism’ ’Buddhism’ and ’Taoism’ and the background of separation in’literature’ and ’taoism’ in the Southern Song Dynasty" on the acceptance of "Han Li" can be acquired.Furthermore, the juxtaposition wording "Han Liu" has its own intrinsic basis in social politics, literacy creation and philosophical thoughts. They are related by marriage and mentorship, even have similar career as a eunuch, similar political stance and propositions. What’s more, they common to the practice and theory development of ancient prose movement made immortal contributions. also, both of them actively construct the Confucianism theory, putting forward its own "disposition". Meanwhile, can be found that Han Yu’s understanding to the simple sensibility, while Li Ao’s upright and outstanding; that Han Yu is good at all kinds of style which are elegant and vigorous, while li Ao is good at writing narrative and propositions which are full of logical and peaceful; that Han Yu pay more attention to the purity of Confucianism, while Li Ao signing Buddhism into Confucianism and has a more in-depth and comprehensive theory development on the "disposition".
