The Analysis Of Webber’s Three Musical Aria Music And Singing Skills

Webber Andrew is a famous British composer, the musical he created is the most representative of the music genre, so far, Webber has created a total of 20 musical, known as the "musical godfather". Webber’s music creation combines classical music and pop music, and combines various kinds of music, such as rock, jazz, etc., forming his own unique style of music creation.During my graduate,I studied Webber’s 6 musicals in nearly 10 arias. The "Any dream will do"(from the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"), "Don ’t cry for me Argentina)"(from the musical "Evita") and "With one look "(from the musical "Sunset Boulevard")these three arias learning singing more, experience more deep, so I chose to study these three arias.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including the origin of the subject and the research purpose and significance, the domestic and foreign research status and the research method of this article three parts. The second chapter introduces the life of Webber and the three musical creation background and the outline of the story. The third chapter is the music of the three arias in detail. Which includes three aspects: analysis of melody, harmony and accompaniment. The fourth chapter is the three arias singing skills for detailed analysis, the analysis includes singing in English pronunciation and sound techniques use. The fifth chapter is on the basis of the two chapters of the three arias were compared on the music and singing.Through the detailed analysis of this thesis for the first three musical arias, I have deeply understood the Webber’s first three aria music creation style, and gradually improved the level of the first aria singing, based on the traditional vocal true voice and falsetto and mixed using acoustic methods, I also joined the gas sound, hoarse sound of the voice skills used, lay a good foundation for singing more musical works in my future.
