In modern Chinese history of vocal music, through the "Western learning spreading to the East", "school songs", "foreign body", "China’s national opera", "soil struggle" and so on stage, in the vocal singing and teaching gradually get rid of the Eurocentric influence, to create a strong Chinese ethnic characteristics of the vocal music development road. The emergence of the field of vocal music teaching in China many outstanding vocal educator, such as Shen Xiang, Zhou Xiaoyan, Jin Tielin,; and cultivate outstanding many world-renowned singer, such as: Wu Bixia, Liao Changyong, Yao Hong, Dilber. The development of the vocal music education in China has a thriving scene. In vocal music learning and singing contains two elements of voice and emotion, the voice is singing the, vocal learning in a singing skills, it is obtained through scientific vocalization training; the emotion is the soul of singing, no emotional voice is pale. If the sound compared to the human body and emotion compared to the human soul, a person without soul like a walking corpse, no flesh would cease to exist.Vocal music, as a language of music, its musical language features, universality and uniqueness of the subject teaching and its universality in it and other disciplines are the same as imparting knowledge, also has its teaching methods and teaching principles, the vocal music teaching of the elephant is a student. And its uniqueness lies in that it is limited by many factors, in the teaching process, teachers should be based on different students’ psychological and physiological conditions to implement teaching methods. A good singer not only has the superb sound skill, but also has the emotion to deduce the work the thought emotion. Emotional singing because by personal physiological and psychological factors influence the expression depth is not the same, but also by the effect of each student’s experience is different, different living environment, ability to understand different, psychological state and music accomplishment differences. Therefore study of voice and emotion in vocal music learning is not separation, also decided in vocal music learning and singing only voice and emotion together in order to achieve the ideal effect of singing. It can be seen that the teaching of "sound" or "emotion" is not complete, and the combination of sound and emotion is very important in vocal music.
