The Australian writer Colleen McCullough’s work The Thorn Birds since the early seventies by the advent of the world readers. In order to achieve the development of the relationship between China’s modernization process and Female Literature between rereading purposes. Through the integrated use of text reading, thematic studies, feminist studies and other ways of "The Thorn Birds" and Chinese Modern Female Literature trauma connotation analysis, re-interpretation of modern literature contact with the times, changes in development environment between women. This paper is divided into three parts discussed.Chapter1,the causes of the intergenerational trauma of the Cleary family.This part analysis these cultural and family influence to the Intergenerational trauma ofthe family.Chapter2,the intergenerational transmission of trauma in the family. This part discusses the process of the transmission of the trauma in the three generations of the women and its work to theirs’ charters with the trauma theory.Chapter3, the charters of trauma writing in the Modern Female Literature. This part use the trauma charters of the thorn birds to analysis Chinese modern women literature. While combine it with the conversion of the space-time environment to understand Chinese modern women literature.In the end, it may get the conclusion that Chinese modern women literature has the same trauma charters with the thorn birds, and it may changes with the development of the social and theory.
