Although women magazine in today’s society achieved relatively good results, but female stereotypes lead to female consciousness absence makes the women’s magazine has become the bottleneck of the development of women’s magazine design, hinder women’s magazines further towards the healthy direction. Here it implies the content of gender theory, in the traditional patriarchal culture background,women are usually used as the object of the show and watch, they must accept the male’s "peep".This paper will study the design of women’s fashion magazines from the perspective of gender theory, and take "girlfriend" magazine as the research object.
