| Congratulations and consolations are basically influenced by the nature,language and religion. " Congratulations " in Chinese is " gong xi", it is a verb and it is consists of two characters "gong" which means respect and politeness and "xi" which means joy and happiness. Meanwhile in Arabic language " Congratulations" is " mabruk" and it is noun, means "may this thing or matter be blessed by God ".This thesis mainly compares the congratulations and the consolations that are used in the weddings, funerals, feasts, giving birth and other occasions between Egypt and China. We hope to make the scholars who are committed to the culture and language studies from both countries to know more about the differences between the language and culture in both countries, so that this thesis can be a reference for the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. This thesis consists of five chapters:The First Chapter: is about clarifying the values, purposes, methods, theories and references of this research.The Second Chapter: is about mentioning the previous relevant researches and their advantages and problems.The Third Chapter: is about applying some theories on a comparative study of the congratulations between Egypt and China in the different cheerful occasions such as feasts, weddings,etc...The Fourth Chapter: comparative studies of the consolation between both countries in the sad occasions such as funeral, missing something, rage, etc...Finally The Fifth Chapter: a summary of the thesis and conclusion. |
