The classification of the voice type occupies an important position in vocal art. With the development of opera, vocal discipline opera produced a more scientific theoretical system, including the division of the voice types. Due to the different physiological conditions of each singer, they have different timbre, range and voice type size. If the vocal works does not comply with their own type of voice, it could lead to serious consequences such as thedamage to the vocal cords and the singer may even cannot sing anymore. Therefore, an accurate understanding of their own voice and choosing the vocal works that comply withtheir own voice conditions is particularly important for vocal learners.Taking the Fach as a theoretical basis, and by comparinganalyzing and summarizing the the perform style of "Der DerH?lleRache" and "Ah, non credeamirarit" singing separately by Sumi Jo and Dame Joan Sutherland, this essay illustrates the importance that choosing appropriate opera arias according to singer’s own voice condition. The introduction part reveals the significance of the topic, research status and research purposes. The first chapter briefly describes the particular type of Fach and the system partition. The second chapter and the third chapter is the focus of this paper, mainly analyzing the role of music and features two arias and two singers singing style features. The conclusion emphasizes the relationship between opera arias with singers’ voice type.
