Study On The Electronic Records Management Of Guangdong Provincial Office

With the deepening development of electronic government construction, there are plentyof electronic documents coming into being and they play a vital role in the operation of theparty committee system. It is safe to say that the electronic document becomes anindispensable part when it comes to the party committee works. As a core informationresource, e-document is the main tool and real record of party’s e-government activities. Thusmismanagement or bugs in it may lead to serious deficiency of e-government function in theparty committee system which may directly impact the normal works of the party committeeor even cause blank memory. This article selects Guangdong Provincial Office as a typicalrepresentative of Guangdong provincial party committee system for the study of e-documentmanagement. The following content covers the specificity of the e-documents management inparty committee system and the target orientation in the e-document management ofGuangdong Provincial Office as well as the existing problems of the management. Except theanalysis of these problems, this paper concludes relatively perfect solutions to them based onthe successful experience of foreign countries.This article is compose of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction that lays outthe background and significance of the study plus the relevant references on e-documentmanagement in foreign countries. Meanwhile, there are sketches of the study methods and thestructure of this article. Chapter2presents the current situation of e-document managementof Guangdong Provincial Office, including the specificity of the e-documents management inparty committee system and the target orientation in the e-document management ofGuangdong Provincial Office. Chapter3, from the management concept, system construction,standardization work, infrastructure&personnel quality, safe share of e-document&efficientuse and so on, shows the main problems occurring in the e-document management ofGuangdong Provincial Office and offers relevant analysis successively.
