The intention of this thesis is to discuss the Cuban immigrants into the United Statesduring1980-1994. It’s mainly analysis the historical stage of immigrants, the characteristicof immigrants and its external relations, to explore the social impact of the U.S.-Cubanimmigrants to the United States caused by mainstream society. Finally, to conclude thesociety developments of USA-Cuba immigrant community settled by immigrants to thesocial transformation. The configuration of my thesis is as follow:Foreword confirmed the major research questions, purpose and meaning, a briefreview of the dynamic US academic research. Introduced the basic theories, methods andthe related concepts of this thesis.Text is divided into three chapters:First chapter: by reviewing the history of the USA-Cuba immigration before1980s,to explore the political and economic changes, and the evolution of U.S domestic social.To analysis the changes of Immigration policy, the number of immigrants, education level,occupational structure, language and cultural aspects impact, elaborated before the1980sthe overall situation and the development of American society tends to Cuban immigrants.Second chapter: to analyzes the Cuba’s Mali el water-side population after their entryinto the1980s, distribution, migration, external relations and social characteristics, todiscuss the Cuban immigrants in Miami, South Florida Cuban immigrant integration in thecontext of society and the Cuban immigration on the impact of mainstream Americansociety. In addition, the brief of the late1980s early1990s Cuban raft drifting flock toSouth Florida in Miami’s historic Cuban immigrant community has done a discourse, andpointed out one of the problems. Through analyze the characteristics of the people andsociety and external relations of the Cuba’s Mali el water-side population raft during the1980s and1990s, to conclude the Cuban immigrant community began the transition fromthe initial immigrant community to settle in the community.Third chapter: from the facts of political, economic, cultural and social, to discuss atremendous impact on the transformation of Cuban immigrant community mainstreamAmerican society, pointing out the features of modernity and nationality USA and Cuba immigrant society generates. It will not only accelerate the pace of South Florida, Miami,Cuban immigrant community settled by immigrants to the social transformation ofsociety, but also a profound impact on the future trend of mainstream American society.Epilogue made a profound discussion. Based on the transformation ofAmerican-Cuba immigrant society since the1980s,, certainly the transition of USA-Cubaimmigrant community in the future, conclude its far-reaching affected for American ethnicsociety.
