Innovation and strengthen the administration of the trial is to serve economic and social development overall situation, the people’s court to promote judicial justice, integrity, efficiency, realize the inevitable requirement of scientific development, the people’s court of performance appraisal as a powerful fulcrum of trial management, plays an irreplaceable role. The supreme people’s court issued three five years judicial、reform program for more than a decade, the country court are exploring to establish and improve the mechanism of performance appraisal, the performance appraisal gradually formed the court a normalized and institutionalized work, to ensure a fair trial by the court, improve trial quality, efficiency and effectiveness, fully arouse the enthusiasm of court officials, reflect JiangQinFaLan, formation of incentive mechanism. Across the country court performance appraisal mechanism have distinguishing feature each, with a diversity of content, assessment of specific, quantitative method etc., but around the court it does exists many issues in the operation of the performance evaluation mechanism, such as light weight management assessment, single assessment index assessment method can’t reflect the overall work, or complicated to practical operation, the assessment results of single application, examination become a mere formality, and so on, eventually led to the court system performance appraisal results are not very clear, so the need to further consummate the court performance evaluation mechanism, establish a scientific and reasonable performance appraisal system of courts, improve overall qualities, judges and other staff to improve the quality and efficiency, establish judicial authority, and eventually realize the judicial fairness and justice in the whole society.In this thesis, the author applies the method of theory with practice, the principles of management of performance appraisal, performance appraisal, the related theory of process design of the current situation of management work of the court, the modern performance management theory and the combination of performance appraisal the exploration of the road experiences, and the actuality of A performance assessment work of the court and the analysis of existing problems, research, and draw lessons from the work of the court in carrying out performance appraisal work productive experience, build A comprehensive performance evaluation system, A court puts forward the optimization countermeasures and Suggestions of performance assessment system of the court system, hope the conclusion from the paper can be objective and fair, scientific and reasonable assessment of the people’s court judge policemen results provide some enlightenment.
