"Asia-Pacific rebalancing" strategy, formulated by Obama Administration, isinheritance and innovation of the U.S. Asia-Pacific strategy. From a geopoliticalperspective, the "Asia-Pacific rebalancing" of the U.S. strategic center of gravityeastward, with "from west to east, from north and south" characteristics, that is, fromthe Middle East to India and East Asia, until the U.S. Pacific Coast; from northeastAsia to Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent and Australia. From a strategic pointof view, the biggest feature is to cover military, political, economic, diplomatic andother multi-pronged comprehensive initiatives. From a strategic objective point ofview, in addition to maintaining the United States of the world (especially in theAsia-Pacific region) leadership, which for China’s intent is clear. From a strategicpoint of view, clever use of Chinese territorial disputes with its neighbors and theirconcerns about China’s strategic intentions and other factors in order to seek otherAsia-Pacific countries, resulting in China’s international strategic environment, thereis a big variable.In Obama administration second term, to maintain "the Asia-Pacificrebalancing" strategic continuity and a corresponding adjustment to this policy is itsmost important foreign policy characteristics. The adjustment of the main contentsincludes: a new geostrategic adjustment; continue the use of a comprehensive method,all-round advance of its "Asia-Pacific rebalancing" strategy; adjust its China relations.The second term of the Obama administration continues to "Asia-Pacific rebalancing"strategy is still trying to comply with U.S. interests and values shaping theAsia-Pacific order to revive and extend U.S. hegemony in the region. The"Asia-Pacific rebalancing" strategy by Obama administration’s second term had asignificant impact on China-US relations and the situation in the Asia-Pacific.Obama’s "Asia-Pacific rebalancing" policy increased tensions in Asia Pacificarea, had a profound impact on the Asia-Pacific orderly pattern and prepared newchallenges and opportunities for the development of Sino-US relations. Faced withthis situation, the Chinese response should include: formulated its own system ofAsia-Pacific strategy; insists on maritime power conception; enhance its own strength to build new relations among major powers such as China and the U.S..
