After the "People’s Republic of China Organic Law of Villagers’ Committees(Trial)" introduced in1987years,Rural electoral system in contemporary China playsan increasingly widespread and profound impact. Put the direct election of villagecommittees as an opportunity, The gradual development of the rural grass-rootsdemocracy into the healthy track. With the widespread implementation of the gradualestablishment of the electoral system and the rural villager autonomy system, Electionprocess contradictions and problems are also increasingly apparent. How can beeffective implementation of rural electoral system has become an important issueconcerns the current scholars.The theory is on the basis of Western political science thesis of rational choiceinstitutionalism perspective, The implementation of the plight of China’s ruralelectoral system were studied. Basic assumption of rational economic man as aprecondition, Analysis of the motives in the electoral process and the behavior ofvoters, candidates and election workers problems in personnel, Explores thedeep-seated causes of these problems. Simultaneously, Paper and draws attention tothe system of rational choice institutionalism tradition of innovation, From theperspective of system construction, To solve the villagers’ committee election systemthe problems put forward corresponding countermeasures, Innovation China topromote electoral system.The thesis is divided into six parts: The first part is an introduction, Including thereason and significance of dissertation topics, Literature Review, Purpose, Researchmethods and innovations; The second part of the research and development andoperation of the electoral system in rural China; The third part introduces the theory ofrational choice institutionalism and its contents; The fourth part is rational actors toparticipate in elections (voters, candidates, election workers) analysis of the behaviorand motivation; The fifth part is a system of rational choice institutionalism revelationof China’s village elections; The sixth part is the conclusion of the article.
