Constitutionalism and constitution is originated from the west, which is formedas a result of long-term natural development of western culture. And constitutionalismhas its unique form of economic, political, cultural, social foundation practice ofconstitutional movement around the world shows that the movement in the countrywhich is absent of constitutional culture tradition, only by the establishment ofconstitutional systems are unable to obtain the success.The constitutional practice of China began a century ago, which is caused by thepurpose of prosperity of the country, Due to the lack of constitutional culture andspecial realistic conditions of China, we ultimately failed to achieveconstitutionalism.Until today, the constitutional government is still a ideal.ofChineseIn this paper,through the interpretation of western constitutionalism and thecultural reflection of modern Chinese constitutionalism, we recognize that Chineseconstitutional construction should be based on their own traditional culture,transplanting and absorbing universal value of the western constitutional and walkingin constitutional development based on Chinese characteristics, should we buildChinese constitutional development from various aspects of politics, economy,culture, society, promote the development of constitutionalism of China.
