Recognizing The Significance Of Marx’s Class Theory And Adhere To It From The Law

As spokesman of the proletariat, Marx has always strive for the liberation of the proletariat. Class and class struggle as the core concepts in Marx’s vast writings, he made a detailed demonstration for class and class struggle. He says:"the existence of classes is only a certain stage of development with production." This judgment is an important basis of his class theory and we can get two conclusions:First, the existence of classes is only a product of a certain stage of the development of productive forces——when productivity gets to a specific stage, the classes will disappear, mankind will enter to a ideal society which Marked by classes to eliminate. This suggests that the inevitability of socialism to eliminate class.Second, the condition of existence with class consistent with production development——when productivity doesn’t get to a specific stage that can make the classes disappeared, the status of the production situation will determine actual situation of the classes and the relationship between classes. This suggests that the socialism has a long time to eliminate class.Marx died after one hundred years, great changes have taken place in the world:capitalism did not disappear and market economy is still prosperous. Meanwhile, socialist China gives up planned economy and chooses the market economy. As the market economy is to use "survival of the fittest "method to realize the development, many scholars and professors question Marx’s class theory. They not only question the scientific nature of concept about class but also question the rationality of class struggle. Some people of them even doubt the socialist road. This paper argues that:the changes of relationship between two systems in reality just show that human have not reached production conditions which can really eliminate class. It doesn’t mean that humans can’t eliminate class, more doesn’t mean that socialism cannot replace capitalism eventually. And the decline of traditional group of the proletariat just demonstrate that the mode of existence of weak groups appear the corresponding change with the development of economy. It doesn’t mean that the disappearance of the necessity to eliminate class and it doesn’t mean that we can give up socialist historical mission.This enlightens us:in order to insist on the Marx’s theory of class on meaning of law, we should go with the tide of historical development, adhere to the market economy development path. At the same time, the socialist market economy cannot stay in the "fittest" situation, we must reform of the market economy to strengthen its Optimization Mechanism when we insist on it.
