Since the end of the cold war, major and profound changes have taken place in theinternational situation.Although the possibility of a world war was greatly reduced,but the international crisis occurred frequently. For example, the gulf war, the war inLibya, Syria crisis, the Iranian nuclear crisis, the Korean nuclear crisis and so on. Thecrisis caused uncertain and unpredictable nature of the international securityenvironment. In these international crisis, Iranian nuclear crisis is the most typicalcrisis in a regional during the cold war, the development of the crisis ups and downsaffects the international community’s nerve. The EU as the main parties of the Iraniannuclear crisis intervened in the crisis management quickly in the beginning of theIranian nuclear crisis. Based on crisis management theories and The EU’s behavior ofthe crisis management, the article through the narrate mode to carry out a researchinto system and in-depth study of motivation, policy choice, participation in theprocess, the achievements and the limitations of the EU’s Participate in theManagement of the Iranian Nuclear Crisis. As a kind of institutional power, the EUembodies the distinctive characteristics of the international crisis management. On theIranian Nuclear Crisis, the EU choice the policy of trade and engagement, at the sametime, the EU focus on cooperation and information exchange with other parties in theinternational crisis management. Compared to the US economic embargo anddiplomatic sanctions, the model EU’s crisis management has certain elasticity, mildspecification and more realistic, so it has a certain universal and the feasibility ofpromotion.The article’s structure is composed of five parts: the first chapter mainlyelaborates the basic content, the purpose and significance of choosing this topic, andthe internal and abroad research working present situation, and the innovation of thisarticle. The second chapter introduces the EU’s international crisis managementincluding the basic theories of international crisis management, the EU’s commonforeign and security policy on the crisis management. The third chapter analyzed thepolicy of the EU’s Participate in the Management of the Iranian Nuclear Crisis, thespecific content including that the EU becomes the important role of the IranianNuclear Crisis, the motivation of the EU’s Participate in the Management of theIranian Nuclear Crisis and the EU’s policy of Iranian Nuclear Crisis under themulti-level governance structure. The fourth chapter analyzed specific theeffectiveness and characteristics of the EU’s Participate in the Management of theIranian Nuclear Crisis, Finally, based on the analysis of the EU’s crisis managementprocess, the article summarizes the characteristics the EU’s Participate in theManagement of the Iranian Nuclear Crisis. The fifth chapter is the limitation andprospects of the EU’s Participate in the Management of the Iranian Nuclear Crisis.
