With the criticism of the rights view from Robert Filmer’s Patriarchaor the Natural Power of Kings, Two Treatises of Civil Government putsforward two kinds of inherent basic human rights—personal rights andproperty rights, and discusses the fatherly power. In the end, it reveals theformation of political society and political power by the defects of thenatural state and two basic rights which humans want to protect, anddiscusses the operating mode of the civil government. With the classifieddiscussion of the rights view from Two Treatises of Civil Government, itis easy to understand deeply and from scratch.
