The computer crime brought very bad social influence and damage. It directlyendangers the normal order of politics, economy, and culture. Because of the laggingbehind of judiciary and the lack of the safe consciousness, very few computer crimes canto be investigated and charged. Because of the difficulty in taking the evidence, a lot ofcases are abandoned because of the evidence lack. If the computer forensics is adopted toorganize the manpower to investigate and take the evidence, and to search forconfirmation and precede indictment, this crime can be from the root eradicatedcompletely. As the safe situation of network is rigorous, it is of great significance to takethe evidence through computer.This paper study the computer forensics, it include: Introduces the background andmeaning of the project, and introduces the domestic and overseas research status.Discussion and research the platform system design of the computer forensics. Researchthe techniques of the computer forensics for computer operating system and computernetworks. This chapter also research and analysis the computer technology in chineseword segmentation and its applicating in the computer forensics.The innovation of this thesis include design a platform system model of thecomputer evidence, research and summarize the techniques of the computer forensics forcomputer operating system and computer networks, analysis the computer technology inchinese word segmentation and its applicating in the computer forensics.
