Study On The Causes And Countermeasures Of Chinese Doctor-patient Violence

With the transformation of society and the fast growth of economy, the doctor-patient contradiction graduallly intensifies,appearing a series of doctor-patient violence affairs in our country. Doctor-patient violence is an extreme form of doctor-patient conflicts and the expression of the social anomie. Doctor-patient violence seriously interferes with the normal order of diagnosis and treatment and damages the practice environment of medical staff and the medical environment of patient directly, which do not only brings the physical and mental harm to the medical staff and reduces much medical workers professional identity, but also seriously distorbs the social order and the healthy development of the harmonious society. From the law perspective, doctor-patient violence belongs to the illegal and criminal behavior, which hurts the doctor’s right of life-health and the personality ect. Doctor-patient violence becomes one of the main factors of social disharmony and the important social problems to be solved.This paper intends to use a theory of social physics- the social combustion theory to make a comprehensive analysis of the doctor-patient violence and bring forward the corresponding countermeasures on the basis of the analysis of current situation and the development trend of doctor-patient violence by the use of data analysis, which relieve the doctor-patient contradiction and provide the doctor-patient violence with a new idea of governance.The social combustion theory holds that the social system which is from order to disorder and balance to imbalance requires "burning material", " accelerant ", "ignition temperature" three conditions as well as the natural combustion. The doctor-patient violence "burning material" includes doctor-patient contradiction resultting from the information asymmetry, cognitive differences and conflicts of interest, lack of trust between patient and patient and the existing problem of interest expression channel and the dispute resolution mechanism, the contradiction between supply and demand of health resources. Social public opinion direction anomies, incompletion of news report is not objective, "relative deprivation" psychological amplifies, the violent public legal consciousness is weak,which consititute "accelerant". Non rational imitate behavior of the perpetrators, the lack of both doctors behavior constraint checks and balances mechanism, the fact that emergency management mechanism of doctor-patient conflict is not sound together constitute the doctor-patient violence "combustion" of "ignition temperature, namely" fuse ". Accordingly, putting an end to violence doctor-patient conflicts and building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship need to eliminate " burning material, control the " fuel ", cut off " fuse " three levels to design governance path for doctor-patient conflict respectively.
