A Research On The Transition Of The Politics Of China Democratic National Construction Association (1945-1949)

The China Democratic Construction Association is one of the eight democratic parties in our country.Since founded in 1945, it has experienced nearly 70 years of glorious history. It was prepared after the anti-Japanese War in China which was faced with two outlooks and two destinines.Then it was founded by Huang Yanpei,Hu Juewen,Shi Fuliang on December 16,1945,who were some patriotic national businessmen and intellectuals.And The Chinese Communist Party gave it help and support.During the Liberation War,the CDCA cooperated closely with the CCP and other democratic parties,making great contribution to the founding of China.The paper systematically teases political principles change of the CDCA during the Liberation War.Through the analysis of change,we reasearch the reason for the change, characteristics and influence to highlight the difference between the CDCA and other democratic parties.At the beginningof the founding,the CDCA put forward political principles focused on democracy and construction.which were on the basis of liberalism,socialism,vocational education chauvinism,sun yat-sen’s construction thoughts.It included being against civil war and dictatorship,claiming peace and democracy;being against bureaucrat monopoly capital,claiming that "the politic democracy of Soviet Union complement Britain and America economic democracy";claiming the peaceful and "blance America and Soviet Union" diplomacy policy.These claims emphasized democracy,required construction,and were in the swim with the age,which had the positive and progressive features.but on the other hand,it existed the limition of understanding and class. The Kuomintang insisted on policiy of civil war and dictatorship, declaring CDCA illegal and persecuting the democratic parties. But the CCP insisted on united front, helping and uniting all democratic parties constantly. Coupled with the development of their political practice education and the war situation, the CDCA gradually changed their political line from the middle route of "Not right, not favoring" into the new democratic route. Specifically, the political goal was changed from Anglo American bourgeois republic into the Democratic People’s Republic of China; the foreign policy was changed from the "balance of the United States and the Soviet Union" into oppose U.S. imperialism aggression; the political line was changed from improved progress road into violent revolution. Change of the CDCA’s political opinion indicates the patriotic progress of CDCA consistent from beginning to end, the transformation of economic circles and intellectuals’aspiration to found a state, and the historical inevitability of the multi-party cooperation system in China.The political transformation of CDCA not only enlarged the people’s democratic united front at that time, and promoted the development of the victory of the democratic revolution, but also laid important foundation for the political development of CDCA after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, which has accumulated valuable experience to a certain extent for the creation of the multi-party cooperation system under the leadership of the communist party.
