Research On The Progress Of Government Information Service Of China Based On The Mapping Knowledge Domain

As an important part of social information, the government information has extremely important strategic significance for government decision-making, enterprise development and personal life. Effectively providing and efficiently servicing the government information is also very important for the normal operation of the whole society and the rapid development of market economy in our country. Along with the development of e-government research and government information disclosure regulations enacted in our country, more and more scholars begin to realize the important strategic position of the government information service. The government information services will mostly become the important theoretical research and practical work requirement to the advanced stage of the electronic government affairs. Recent dozen years, the research literatures specifically for government information services is increased, and the system studies and combs of these research literatures is of great significance for the standardized and systematic development of the government information service research.Along with wide study of scientometrics and quickly expanding of application in the field of interdisciplinary, more and more scholars use scientometrics method in their research fields, to explore and mining the research focus and research front of a subject or field, in order to reveal the law of its development. As one of the important methods in recent years, scientific mapping knowledge domain can vividly display a lot of literature information in the form of image through the information visualization technology. It’s good at the recessive information discovery and knowledge mining. At present, CiteSpace is the most forefront, convenient and practical knowledge map analysis software in the world.The article is based on the data source of journal articles in the field of government information service between 2001 and 2012 from CNKI. Based on scientific mapping knowledge domain what is the new method of scientometrics, it does the research of our country government information service by using the analysis software of CiteSpace. On the one hand, using the bibliometrics and co-word analysis method, The paper makes a statistical analysis of literature information on government information service respectively from four dimensions of the literature quantity, periodicals distribution, authors group and research institutions, in order to have a comprehensive understanding of the external characteristics of the government information service research papers. Through mapping the co-occurrence knowledge map of the authors and research institutions in the field of government information service, the paper systematically analyzes the core authors, the core research institutions and the research group cooperation of government information service research in our country. On the other hand, taking advantage of co-word analysis method the paper draws the keyword co-occurrence knowledge map With the help of related literature content, through the analysis of the high frequency keywords, it can detect the research focus of government information service. Using burst words detection technology, it can detect the research frontier subject of the government information service; Combined with hot topics and frontier topics and time zone view, it clearly shows the theme structure in the research field of government information service in our country. From two big dimensions of the external characteristics of the periodical literature and theme structure the paper has a systematic comb and overall grasp to the current state and advances of government information service research in our country, so as to make up for the inadequacy of qualitative research and provide a reference for the further research of our country government information service.
