The Research Of Women Engagement In Village Management,Case Study Of The Shuibin Village Of Yao Minority At Gongcheng Prefecture

With the rapid development of the new rural area construction, women have become an important force in the work of rural governance. Because of the influence of regional culture, economic development situation that the level women participate in rural governance and role they play are different. For instance, the women are experts of family farming,and they have becoming the major force in the modern agricultural production and operation activities. They are indispensable in maintaining social stability, solving contradiction in life or work. In the rural culture and health, education activities, they are also play an unique role. Based on the changing of the role women played during the village affairs management, I do a research about SYB village women’s participation in rural governance,aimed to find out the problem during working and solve it in the way of social work science to make it better.The investigation demonstrates equality relationship between the sexes, women’s participate in family affairs governance and taking active part in the management of affairs are traditional concept.It indicates that SYB village women have participated in the management of rural affairs for a long history, and provide a perspactive for the discussion about SYB village women’s participation in village management. The investigation also find many problems that worth attention in the SYZ women’s rural affairs management. Firstly, losing of women’s subjectivity is the core problem that limit their participation in rural governance, mainly include the absence of indispendence, initiative, creativity in women’s governance work;Secondly,there is lack of effective support platform for women to participate in rural affairs,not only in place and equipment,but also in regime,environment and activity.Thirdly, agricultural production and management,political affairs and health situation also influence the role women played in rural governance. This research is not only raises the question, but also analyz problems. Based on the discussion and the analysis of the issues, this research attempts to work from the social work practice and the method, propose effective and operational strategy, mainly has“the case of women’s participate in the village government” strategy, “the women’s participates in the village government group work” strategy, “the women’s participates in the type development” strategy, “the promotion women’s ability in participate in the village management”. This paper not only proposes these strategy, but also discuss the issues about implementation basis, significance, the implementation principle step and detail are need to pay attention for each strategy, it is looking forwards to make the strategy be pertinent,maneuverable and effective. Through the implemention of these strategies, it could contribute to the research about village woman’s government management and facilitate the development of all round of rural developing.Besides introduction and conclussion this paper has three parts:The first part represents the current situation of SYC,including the village history and the affairs women take part in rual governance.The second part through investgation and case analysis find the problem in women’s rural governance and analyze the reason.The third part based on the problem proposes specific strategy of using socail work to solve SYC women’s participation in rural governance by case and group method.
