Primary Research On The Security Models States Use To Purse National Security In The Balance Of Power

The connotation of the national security has a great importance to national state. The effort for national security has a long history. With the development of age, the advancement of science and technology and the progress of globalization, the inner connotation and the outer meaning in the national security have new further developments. Many different countries in different eras and areas, the national security goals that states long for has been steady for many years. The strategy that certain states take to purse national security has been similar.The balance of power, generally speaking, has four meanings:the school of states、the school of power-. the school of policy and the school of the international landscape.As the most ancient, significant and controversial international relations theory in the international politics, it not only has many meanings, but also the ambiguous definitions.But its value do not devalue with the changes of the international environment. It is the most important task for the international politics research to have a deep understanding in the rules of international relations regardless of the huge obstacles of times and the blocks of history.This paper starts by explaining the meaning of the balance of power and the definition of the national security,research the different meanings of development in the history of balance of power and the historic change of the national security thoughts, also investigate the behavior model that the states take in the effort to purse their national security and combine different situation in the balance of power,in which compare and summarize the ways that certain states use to purse national security.In the basis of many facts that certain states dies and some states proper,after that, we try to make a reasonable conclusion and summary that there three kinds of types of balance of power:terrible type of balance of power, competitive type of balance of power, cooperative type of balance of power. this paper try to through the facts such as the thriving and death of certain countries, analysis of the many aspects in the national security By doing so, we could observe, analyze and summarize the different models the states use to purse their national security in the three kinds of international political situation of balance of power:terrible type of balance of power, competitive type of balance of power,cooperative type of balance of power. Under the terrible type of balance of power the security models can be deduced as:the law of the jungle,enemy and me can not live together, by hook or by crook, be mercenary all the time, you die or I live; In the competitive type of balance of power, the security models can be:nation compete as the natural selection, strong nation enjoy respect, strong nation bully small and weak,have one’s bread buttered on both ways, no Ambassador killed in the war between nations; In the cooperative type of balance of power,the behavior models can be:the lips being lost, the teeth feel cold, lucky and disaster live together, a fire on the city gate brings disaster to the fish in the moat、nations rise or fall together.
