A Study On China’s Accession To The Hague Convention On The Civil Aspects Of International Child Abduction

1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction has played an important role in ensuring the prompt return of abducted children and suppressing migration of children. With increasingly frequent foreign marriage and other family relations, China is facing prominent issues of international abduction of children. Considering our national situation, accessing to the Convention, using Convention to solve international abductions cases is very necessary.The Convention has worked almost thirty years,many countries have been its members.Based on their good practice, we can protect interests of chinese children effectively. Meanwhile, be a member of the Convention, improve the standards with international States Parties, we can also make communications with other countries and receive respects abroad.
