| The System of Appropriate Adult (SAA)is a system specially designed by many countries to meet with peculiarity of physiology and psychology of delinquents. The system requests an appropriate adult presenting the communication with the police when deliquents under interrogation by the police. The adult supervises whether any misconductions occurred by the police during interrogation.This paper starts from the basic theory of appropriate adult combining with experimental work summing up the system operations in our country and points out the suggestions on how to improveof the system of appropriate adult.The paper discusses the origins of the system of appropriate adult and the procedure to select appropriate adult, defines the scope and role of appropriate adult in the criminial proceedings. Finally, the author points out it is god idea to take the psychological consultation into the operation of appropriate adult. |
