China’s rural villages is widely distributed, small scale, low level of economic development.In the wave of pushing the integration of urban and rural areas, traditional village developmentapproach has been difficult to adapt to the needs of modern social development. As well as tofarmers enjoy the economic and social development outcomes and benefits early, and to shareequal public services. At the request of developing rural and in the background of solving the"Three Rural Issues", the state made a timely manner,"village relocation" policy. Villagerelocation is a major reform of China’s rural areas in recent years, and it will make a huge impactto rural development and farmers’ lifestyle. It promotes the further development of the ruraleconomy and society and provides a new idea to solve the "Three Rural Issues". But it will alsoproduce some negative issues, so we must put forward some feasible measures to solve theseproblems as to make sure the policy pursued and developed better.The thesis is divided into six parts, the first part is an brief introduction to the villagerelocation circumstances, and there is a description on the relevant researches on this issue. Thesecond part is a research on the motivation of the village relocation. Village relocation trends inline with the integration of urban and rural areas and the new rural construction. It promotes thedevelopment of rural urbanization, and it plays a role of joining and buffering in the developmentfrom rural to urban; it is also conducive to narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas fromall aspects of housing, transportation, social security, health insurance and so on. The third partintroduces the achievements of village relocation in details. It integrates the resources andelements of the village and promotes the modernization of agriculture and rural development ofpublic services. The capacity of building village-level organizations has also been strengthened.The fourth part analyzes negative issues which are brought by village relocation. Living togetherbreaks off some rustic things, increases the cost of living, while it increases the difficulty ofcommunity management. In addition that some local governments disregard of the specificcircumstances that relocate villages casually, some of the negative impact is further magnified.The fifth part proposes appropriate solutions to the problems appeared in villages relocation, suchas the government to establish a correct view of achievements, according to objective laws, toprevent the "one size fits all" behavior; create a new community culture, lead community residentscitizenship as soon as possible; while strengthen community management capacity and improvecommunity services. The sixth part is the conclusion. In addition, this paper will combine theoryand practice. The author has done field research related to the effectiveness in the province TYvillage Z, the solution in the paper produced by TY theoretical data collected with the appropriatecombination of problems is feasible and realistic.
