China’s population aging situation is grim, the characteristics of a large population base,development speed, weak economic basis, social burden is heavy, is typical of the "old beforegetting rich" countries. The population aged over65years in China in2012has reached127000000people, to the beginning of2014, China’s60years of age and above population204000000people, accounting for14.9%of the total population, China current agingpopulation has more than160000000, and every year still increase at the speed of8000000. Itis expected that by2020, the scale of China’s elderly population will reach248000000, theaging of the population will be more severe, will account for17.2%of the total population.Experts predict, to2050, China’s aging population will reach1/3of the total population.
