American history began from Puritan settlers in the17th century. The formation of the American nation, the American social and cultural development has always been accompanies by Christianity in the past300years. Christian tradition has been deep into all aspects of American society, of course, including the political level. Therefore, although the US is a secular country from a legal sense, the political life follows the strict principle of separation of religion; Christianity plays the pivotal role in the actual political process. Party system is an important part of the political machine of a state. Just like the other parts of the US political system, the US party system is subject to the profound impact of the Christian elements in its entire process of the production, maturation and normal functioning. United States, as a typical representative of the Western world, the research of the relationship between its party system and Christian would be a positive significance to the general study of western religion and party system. At the same time, the topic of the China’s reform in political system and party system area is also a lot of academic experts discussion for.
