Nowadays, an urgent issue international community is faced with is education equity. As a strategic thinking, after the seventeenth and eighteenth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.the development of education equity was further clarified in the third plenary session of the eighteenth. This showed that the whole society attached even greater importance to education equity. Therefore, it is a major topic for the Party and state to understand the issue scientifically and solve it effectively. Considering our education equity theory stemmed from Marxist view of education equity, the right perspective is absolutely a theoretical premise and ideological weapon for us to resolve the problem of the education equity at the present stage in China.Marxist view of education equity was taken as the study object, the development of New China’s higher education as backdrop, the research demonstrated the main contradiction and the specific characteristics of education equity in different historical stages. The focal point is that taking Marx and Engels’s view of education equity into account, then comes to the conclusion that the Marxist view of education equity is constantly enriched and developed in practice; the Marxist view of education equity and its law of development should be correctly understood; government ought to perform its active role in higher education effectively.There are4chapters:Chapter1includes the background and meaning of topic, research status and research ideas, research methods and innovation. Chapter2, the main content of the Marxist view of education equity, includes the highest goal of the comprehensive development, request of equal right to education and the necessary economic, political and legal conditions. Chapter3, the application of the Marxist view of education equity in China’s higher education, there are4stages:beginning and exploration; stagnation and destruction; recovery and adjustment; steady development. Chapter4states the enlightenment of the practice of the Marxist view of education equity, the Marxist view of education equity is constantly enriched and developed in practice; we should correctly understand the Marxist view of education equity and its law of development; and government ought to perform its active role in higher education effectively.
