According to the theoretical analysis and the previous research results, we pick the residential real income, urbanization rate, industrial structure, household energy structure, demographic characteristics, family size and living standards of residents as the potential influencing factors, and establish the panel data model for the household energy consumption in China. Based on the2000-2011panel data of30provinces, we do the regression analysis for the household energy consumption model, which analyze the direction and the effect of each influencing factor. And industrial structure, household energy structure and living standards of residents are the influencing factors of the west area.
