With the acceleration of urbanization process in China, a large number of surplus rural labor migrate to cities and towns, so that they gradually become a new type of labor force of urban society. With the expansion of the number and scale of the migrant force, the inner structure changes obviously and the non-traditional sense of migrant force, which can be called as the new generation of migrant workers. Due to the impact of their own background and experience, most of the new generation of migrant workers aspire to urban life and integrate into urban society. However, because of various factors, they are still excluded from urban mainstream society, showing a lower degree of integration of urban communities. This study uses the theory of the sociology and public management. Through the method of the questionnaire and interview, this paper researches the current situation of integration of the new migrant workers into t urban communities. Based on the domestic and foreign theories about the floating population’s social integration, the paper generalizes the present situation of migrant workers integrating into the community as well as analyzes the difficulties and obstacles in the process of migrant workers integrating to community from the aspect of economy, social daily life and social psychology. At last, the author explores the realistic ways of migrant workers to integrate into community from three dimensions, such as government, community and migrant workers.
