In the “half acquaintances” rural society, the relationship between the villagers hasbecome more and more utility,“face”,“anger” and interests are the major consideration invillagers’ life.“Face” implies a set of interests and security mechanism, the proper vent of“anger” will contribute to the preservation of “face” and interests. But excessive vent willthreat to “face” and interests. In the case of rational, interest and “face” can effectivelysuppress the outbreak of the “anger”, but when villagers become irrational, the outbreak of the“anger” will result in serious damage to “face” and interests. At present, three of them are allplaying an irreplaceable role.In the multiple action of interests,“face” and “anger”, cooperation and compromise willbe the best measure to solve the dispute of villagers. Because of different mediators,cooperation presents two different structure forms——the equality of family mediation whenseat structure and mediation of positive. Traditional power has ebbed, but the modern statepower has not been fully into countryside, the village committee becomes more and moreimportant in rural governance. Since the village committee’s strong support, and in both forceof the traditional power and modern power, cooperation has become the general way ofsolving rural disputes.Based on a partnership sample happened in a village named Xicun in Henan province,this thesis analyzes the “face”,“anger” and interest and their relations, and then analyzes thecooperation. The thesis is divided into seven chapters, the first chapter is the introduction part,in this part we mainly introduce the thesis’ research object, research methods, research ideas,and simply introduce the present situation of academic circles; The second chapter mainlyintroduces the development of the disputes and solve process; The third chapter mainlyanalyzes the social status and properties of Xicun; The forth Chapter analyzes “face”,“anger”and interests and their impact on disputes; The fifth part expounds the subject, structure andrules of cooperation; The sixth part analyzes the logic of cooperation and compromise; Theseventh part is the conclusion part.
