The Research Of The Space Cooperation Between China And European Union

Under the impetus of the wave of the development of science and technology, international competition evolved into the economy, science and technology as the core of the comprehensive national strength competition. To review of the history of China, the backward technology has become a factor of the reason why countries are backward and undeveloped. The exploration and practice about outer space activity is important in the field of high-tech projects. Therefore, as the founding of the PRC, China has increased the investment in development of space technology, and cooperated with the Soviet Union in the space. Unfortunately, the Soviet Union finally parted ways with China. At the same time, under the circumstances of the cold war, China cannot cooperate with the western countries in the space area instead of self-reliance. As the relationship bewteen China and the westen countries became better and better, our country and the other countries,especially the European ones,have made a series of space cooperation in the principle of "equality and mutual benefit",which had achieved fruitful results. Space cooperation already constituted as an important part of China’s foreign relations.Although the development of China-European space cooperation is well,we must see that there are many problems and obstacles there,such as the lack of political trust,the development influence of European Union internal mechanism, the security of outer space issues.These problems also affect the space of China-European space cooperation. Therefore, this topic will begin with the content of cooperation in the field of outer space between the EU and China, then analysising the reason of the China and European Union’s space cooperation and restriction factor, giving development Suggestions about China and the EU in the future cooperation in the field of outer space.
