The Evolution Of Chinese Society After China And Thailand Established Diplomatic Relations

Thailand is considered as a popular destination to immigrated Chinese of Southeast Asia. The Fusion of Chinese and Thai in Thailand are generally considered to be a successful model of integration in Southeast Asia. Chinese can successfully survive in local society and had obtained citizenship of Thailand. And there is an upword trend in intermarriage between Chinese and Thai.Nowadays,most Chinese immigrants have become Thai citizens.Their civil rights and obligations are the same as the Thai people. The difference between the Chinese and Thai people are slim.We can see many Chinese people who are come from all works of life work in Thailand Thai Chinese had become the dominant force in the development of Thailand and made great contribution to the development of society.Chinese successfully integrated into the mainstream society in Thailand, on one hand,which is from they had received respect through the hard and creative working,on the other hand, which is come from the liberal policy of Thai government. Chinese ethnic is the minority group in Thailand. How can they integrated into mainstream society has been the important issue in the development of the nation state. In the course of their development in history, Thai government had took some Chinese exclusion policy. After the establishment of China-Thailand relations,Thai government adjust the culture policy of Chinese people which accelerated the progress of integrated into the mainstream society in Thailand.Therefore,analyzing the cultural policy of Thai government which can help us understand the law of development of Chinese society and provide references for the establishment and development of nation-states.This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter generalize the relationship between China and Thailand before and after the establishment of China-Thailand relations and the development of Chinese society.The second chapter analyze the policy of Chinese education in Thai government and the development status of Chinese education.The third chapter research the policy of Chinese press in Thai government and the development status of Chinese media.The fourth chapter analyze the policy of Chinese religious belief in Thai government.Finally,we can get some brief analysis from the culture policy of Thai government.
