A Study On European Chinese Economic Restricting Factors Under The Background Of The European Debt Crisis

The European overseas Chinese economic development has experienced four stages,including depression, low-speed development, rapid development and stable development. After the Reform and Opening up, the overseas Chinese in Europe expanded quickly, its economic strength, industry scale, industry distribution, mode of operation and so on has all risen to a new level. The countries of this research are all EU countries, including East Europe, West Europe, South Europe and North Europe countries. In 2009, five countries including Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Ireland suffered the serious sovereign debt crisis. The overseas Chinese in Europe has also suffered varying degrees of blow because of the crisis. The shortcomings exposed obviously, the traditional industry got into trouble. In early times, European Chinese were difficult to benefit from China-EU trade. In recent years, China-EU relations becoming friendly, with frequent high-level visits and trade interaction. All of that offered a chance for a large economy to ethnic Chinese in Europe. Although the European Debt Crisis has led to the downturn of overseas Chinese economic in Europe, it also provided the chance of rebirth. This study will put the economic development of overseas Chinese in Europe under the background of European Debt Crisis to discuss the restricting factors of European Chinese economic. After the end of World War 2, the European Chinese economic has experienced the rapid capital accumulation for 30 years. Development will eventually accompanied by a series of problems, however, to find out the reason is to achieve better development. This study attempts to find out problems of the European overseas Chinese economic development and future challenges it may suffered, put the overseas Chinese economy and the China-EU economic cooperation together, discuss the way to a better development, try to put forward the corresponding suggestions and measures,and to make the European Chinese economic develop in a healthy and orderly way.
