Since 2008, college-graduate village officials policy has begun to be implemented and became an important way of selecting and cultivating talents during the new period. Despite success, there are still many problems:short tenure but high liquidity; easily be marginalized without legal identity; trivial work and lack of enthusiasm. To better achieve the program objectives, further study has great necessity.Therefore, under the background that college-graduate village officials cannot do well and stay longer, from the perspective of organizations and individuals, the study focuses on the relationship between college-graduate village officials’organizational commitment and job involvement, collects data from questionnaires and interviews, uses statistical methods like descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing and correlation analysis to find how organizational commitment influences job involvement. The study has found:First, college-graduate village officials’ organizational commitment includes four common factor:self-identity、social responsibility、emotional belongingness and tradeoffs. Job involvement can be described as job activity, job dedication and job balance.Second, there is no significant difference on organizational commitment or job involvement in the case of various domicile, education and major. Gender affects emotional belongingness, work enthusiasm, work balance. Self-identity has statistical significance in different tenure. Different average monthly income, temporarily transfer also affect self-identity, emotional belongingness.Third, with a significant positive correlation, the overall level of college-graduate village officials’ organizational commitment and job involvement is not high, Self-identity, social responsibility and emotional belongingness could effectively predict job involvement.Finally, according to the interview data and the empirical results, making suggestions from the point of recruitment, management, encouragement in order to make...
