Research Of Chinese Dream Under The Horizon Of Patriotism

Patriotism is the glorious tradition and noble virtue of the Chinese nation, is the political and moral basis of uniting all nations in China as well. The historical change transforms the connotation of patriotism and its era characteristics. Chinese Dream has became an important topic of debate and concern at home and abroad since November 2012 which was proposed by Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee. It has brought incredible power to develop the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics so far. Since entering the new century, great changes have taken place in the domestic and international situation. China’s economic and social development have both new opportunities, is also facing new challenges. How to make good use of the theory weapon of Chinese Dream of inspiring more people to contribute their strength to the socialist construction in new period, to endow the patriotism with the new strength and new characteristics of current situation which matches the development of the times, is the new historical task, and the problem to be solved on the way of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is not difficult to find that the strong sense of national pride and confidence and the amazing cohesion and centripetal force, which was contained by Chinese Dream, matches the inner spirit of the patriotism in the new period. This paper concludes that the patriotism in the new period and the Chinese Dream are interconnected and come down in one continuous line on the basis of study of their connotation. And also this paper proves that the latter pushes forward the former to the deeper level in the theory and practice. At the same time, the author hopes that the results of this theory will be applied in practice and achieve the exploration and development of the new era of patriotism education with the tools of Chinese Dream.
