Research On Metamodeling Of Military Information System Architecture Product

Military information system architecture is defined as the structure of components consisting of its system, relationships, and the disciplines and guidelines governing their design and evolution over time. At present, the research on military information system architecture is generally based on the research of DoDAF, and the research of the modeling of architecture product is an important part. In DoDAF 2.0, though it provides the criterion and method for data organizing and collecting, the method and process for product modeling is not mentioned. As a result, it lacks maneuverable guidance for product modeling, and this will affect data collecting and moreover affect decision making. And the method of product modeling for the moment is generally the structured method, it is not easy to extend and it is difficult to develop the tool. Besides, the research on architecture product modeling has little progress for the lack of knowledge about meta-meta-model and product meta-model.In order to settle the problem, refer to the meta-modeling method and technologies in other domains, this paper took core data of DoDAF 2.0 as the data of military information system architecture and focused on the research on the 52 products of Do DAF 2.0, then presented the meta-modeling method framework and basic process of military information system architecture product modeling, and studied three key technologies of the meta-modeling of architecture product, including meta-meta-model, meta-model and meta-modeling tool. By using the method of meta-modeling of architecture product, we can solve the problem of product modeling, and it can provide the modeling tool easily. Main work and innovation in this paper includes:(1) Presented a meta-modeling method framework of architecture productFor the problem of the lack of guidance and progress of the architecture product meta-modeling, this paper presented a meta-modeling method framework of architecture product and analyzed basic processes and main technologies of meta-modeling. Through the research, we improved the modeling framework of architecture product under the meta-model theory, and provided a method for architecture product modeling.(2) Proposed the modeling method and process of meta-meta-model and product meta-modelThe meta-meta-model and product meta-model are both key technologies in meta-modeling process, as the lack of knowledge about meta-meta-model and product meta-model; we presented the method and basic process of the modeling of meta-meta-model and product meta-model of architecture. Through the research, we clarified the contents and modeling method of meta-meta-model and product meta-model, and provided the guidance for architecture product modeling.(3) Explored the designing of meta-modeling tool of architectureThe meta-modeling tool of architecture is the carrier of the architecture product meta-modeling method. For the problem of the lack of architecture product meta-modeling tool at present, we designed the meta-modeling tool of architecture based on the meta-meta-model and product meta-model of architecture. We analyzed the functions and structure of the tool, and designed the main components of the tool. The designing will support the meta-modeling of architecture product. Besides, based on the tool; we analysed and validated the meta-modeling method of architecture product via a case.
