Research On Socialist Ideology Security Of China Under The Background Of Globalization

Ideology, which is the dominant thought in a country or society, or a theoretical system composed of ideas that is put forward by the ruling class to standardize the mutual recognition of all the members in the society, reflects the society’s economic basis for the most and serves it at the same time. Ideology plays an important role in the rise and fall of all the countries in history. What’s more, ideological security is an essential component of national security. In other words, the political and economic change of modern states is actually the competition between different ideologies.Nowadays, with the rapid development of globalization and reform and opening-up, the contradictions and struggles in the ideology in our country has become more complicated. The socialist ideology mainly guided by Marxism is unprecedentedly impacted and challenged, which makes it difficult for the socialist ideology to play the functions of integration, constraint, specification and others, even leads to the problem that Chinese mainstream ideology is facing a serious threat. Therefore, how to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the field of China’s socialism ideology has become a real problem to be resolved urgently, which has close relations to our country’s stabilization and people’s happiness. In such circumstances, our previous researches about ideological security do not apply to the current changes. We should assess the situation and keep pace with the times in order to have a better analysis and research to the theory and practical issues of ideological security.Centered on the socialism ideological security in our country, this paper includes three parts: the relevant theory, situation analysis, construction thoughts. The first part reviews some relevant theories of ideological security, introduces the development process and the content of socialism ideology in our country, and sums up our experiences and lessons in the field of ideology. Then the first part further explains the profound meaning of globalization, exposes the essence and characteristic of globalization which is strongly equipped with the properties of capitalism. In the second part, the thesis firstly analyzes current problems of ideological security, including the vacancy of our mainstream ideology identity, the attacking of Chinese traditional culture, inadequate innovation ability of ideological theory, the outdated propagation mode of ideology etc. After that, this part further analyzes the internal and external reasons of above problems which are mainly influenced by social transformation, cultural diversity, changes in the workforce and the Internet age. The third part proposes principles and ideas to maintain the construction of the ideological security. We must stick to the principle of Marxism and the thought of keeping pace with the times. In the meanwhile, we should build a series of systems from the perspectives of the core values of society, cultural soft power, construction of the working staff, and the propagation path to achieve the construction of ideological security in our country.
