Research On Problems Of Local Government Response To Network Group Events

With the continuous development of Internet technology, a variety of real social contradictions and the network’s features make the network group events occur frequently. The development of network group events to some extent reflects the enhancement of public awareness of democratic participation and the ascension of consciousness to maintain their rights. Network group events, as it were, to some extent promoted the progress of our country’s network political democracy. But at the same time, we should also understand that due to improper handling the network group event is most likely to trigger the realistic society’s mass incidents and bring harmful effects on society. Therefore, this requires local government attaches great importance to the network group events and improves the response ability of network group events.At present, due to reasons such as consciousness and system, the process of China’s local government responding the network group events has many problems, and these problems often make events complex and expand, so this paper will focus to these problems. This paper selects 5 network group event cases, using the social combustion theory analyses the cause of the event, focusing on the detailed arrangement for the response process of local government, as well as, timeliness, information disclosure, the level of accountability, network skill and attitude are used to analyze the response status of local government. Based on case analysis, summarizes the basic process of local government response to the network group events and the measures, and discusses the problems and reasons existing in the response process of local government. Finally, this paper puts forward thoughts and suggestions on the local government response to the network group events, such as follow principles, improve the response system, promote transparent government construction, improve the comprehensive ability of administrative staff.
